How we calculate this
We start with real, measured AI usage per occupation (from the Anthropic Economic Index), then apply a small adjustment (up to 25%) for how much the role depends on creativity, people skills, and hands-on dexterity: traits research shows AI still struggles to replace (O*NET). For occupations without enough real usage data yet — which Anthropic finds affects roughly 30% of workers — we use a peer-reviewed exposure estimate instead (Eloundou et al., 2024).
