How we calculate this

We start with real, measured AI usage per occupation (from theAnthropic Economic Index), then apply a small adjustment (up to 25%) for how much the role depends on creativity, people skills, and hands-on dexterity: traits research shows AI still struggles to replace (O*NET). For the roughly 30% of occupations without enough real usage data yet, we use a peer-reviewed exposure estimate instead (Eloundou et al., 2024).
